OK, so Im a dinosaur. I have my first DVD, put it in my DVD/CD player on my Gateway XP laptop and the Windows Media Player comes up and says there is no DVD decoder installed. What do I do now and where do I get one?

go to microsoft web site and see if they have a free update for your player

Mine would do that, connect to the internet, then try to play it, it should dl the decoder automatically.
