Did you use gel coat or paint on the bottom? It looks great a friend of mine is in the process of refurbishing a Throughbred and he is trying to decide weather to with paint or gel. Any thoughts?:D

We went with paint. Gelcoat was going to be ridiculous on cost. It has 15 coats of clear on the bottom and sides. The deck has over 20 coats on it.

What kind of paint did you use and how well is the bottom holding up sitting on that lift. We were concerned about the boat sitting on the wet bunks of the trailer and having impressions from the carpet.

That is one sweet machine! You gotta be proud to have one like that. You can't just go down to a dealer and buy one like it.

The bottom has held up great. It has been on fork lifts before so you can see the bottom. No marks or anything. I'm pretty sure it was Imron paint, but it's been awhile.
