I took some pics of the debris/trees, I'll try and post them tonight. From Fairview down, it wasn't bad. I think when the river turns at Fairview It all bunches up.

Joey, we may be out this weekend, but I doubt it. I am still painting the lower, and I am awaiting new axles and brakes for the trailer.

I guess since you're a lake dweller, you do that. If you really went "offshore"............you certainly wouldn't want to do that (unless you want to see the end of it sticking out through the gelcoat). :D :D :D :D

I have 2 anchors both in the floor locker on a mat.
the spare is for any women that becomes an X during a trip
that way the coastes wont be asking where the anchor went ;)
cause Ill show them the 1 in the locker :)

Yea..... tryed that bow anchor locker on my old Liberator....
It beat the crap out of it !!! You could see spyder cracks in the
gell from it !!
Under the back seat with anchor clips from now on !!

My hubby keeps me in the "co-pilot" bolster.....he heee.:D couldn't resist

You Potomac guy's were out on the river and didn't stop by my place and help spread grass seed!!! Now I'am hurt.

O and I keep my anchor in the side gunnel in the cockpit of my 42 a 35# and 15# fit in the same place but I don't know to many other boats that have as much room in the cockpit as a Sonic.

I keep my anchor under the back seat. It wedges in there pretty well and has never caused any damage to anything in about 8 seasons. I little trick I learned from a friend was to keep the rode in a 2 gallon plastic bucket with a handle. When I want to heave the anchor, I acutally don't even need to take the bucket out from under the seat. Just grab the anchor, head out on deck, and give it a heave. Or, just stand in the cockpit and drop it overboard and then back off with the motor until I have scope out, tie it off, and set it with the motor. If I do heave it out, it ALWAYS just flies out of the bucket. When I need to haul it back in, I keep a bathroom floor mat on board (rubber backed and real plush) that I bring up with me. Set the bucket on the mat, and simply hand the line into the bucket. Don't even need to coil it, just hand over hand it into the bucket. I have NEVER had it tangle. Always flies out without issue.
