"Found" the book "BLUE THUNDER"

Just wanted to share my little "finders" story.

I walk into this used book shop about an hour ago. Looking thru the "true crime" section and I scan past the title "blue thunder". I do a double take and remember all the talk about a month ago about the three books on Don Arronow.

Anyway, it's a hard cover in mint condition. I remember someone said they're going for $50 or more on Ebay. I open up the cover and see $5 written in pencil.

Done deal. Can't wait to read it.

Cigarette Top Gun
I bought Blue Thunder as soon as it was released. At the time, it made for some very interesting reading. Several years ago I had lent it out and it was never returned. I had been watching for it on ebay and several other sites but I did not have much luck. Unknown to me, my wife had found a perfect copy somewhere on the net and she bought it for a present

She paid almost $200.00 for it.

dude, you scored big time!!!!!

I ordered mine online through Amazon and got a used one...and when I opened the the from cover it read

"To Jan and Betsy
From "a chip off the old block"...

Your pal

David Aronow"

The book later goes on to describe him an daughter Claudia as "money hungry"
