My dream is fading and I need your help. I'm losing approval from my wife as spring is setting in here in Boston (very slowly though.) I really need to impress her with Florida to get her to move. We are staying in Fort Myers and will be there three full days uninterrupted by travel. The first day is Easter Sunday and we have no official plans. The following two days will be spent looking at real estate in the area and a trip up to the Venice North Port area to look there as well.

What I need is something to catch her attention. What makes a 29 year old woman happy. (I'm going to regret asking that I know.) I figure a sight seeing tour of the canal systems/expensive houses, shopping along a boardwalk area with cafes, nice beaches. Where can I go for this?

You know I'd like to hit a Hooters but I'm already convinced I'd like to move. I need to convince her. Think like woman, what do I need to do? Come on women, help me out here!

It's all there ... shopping, cafe's, boardwalk ect.....

What a great trip. We took a drive down 41 through Bonita Springs and into Naples then headed back up to Venice and North Port. Boy has this area changed in the last 12 years. Turns out I blindly booked our hotel right next to the outlet shops!

Long story short, I didn't get chance to hit any sites you suggested for dinner but got a big thumbs up in Coral Springs! Step one done... now for all the rest. I have notice a few posters on this board from Coral Springs and will send some PM to you with some questions about the area. If you know about Coral Springs and don't have it in your signature, please send me a PM if you don't mind.

We are going to start looking at property to build a house on if all goes well.

One other thing to throw out while I'm posting on this area, we hit a restaurant in Ft Myers Beach called Snug Harbor Restaurant and want to give a thumbs up on it.
