Usually stitching holds up.. unless its a cotton type

Next year use the little dryers from Boat U.S. and plug them in and when it's time to boat the interior is clean and no mildew and dry.

I use Clorox cleaner with bleach in a spray bottle. It works great with a little rubbing/scrubbing and doesn't hurt the threads.

After that I treat the vinyl with Meguire's vinyl conditioner because that stuff is not slimy like Armor All.

Un-scented Tide is “sodium-percarbonate”. Will clean mildew as well as bleach and not as harsh. It will be a little slower, you don’t need to rub any harder just give it a few more seconds to soak.

Biggest preventer of damage to vinyl, stitching, etc. is WATER.
