T2x, I couldn't agree more. Something needs to be done about these V Bottom/no canopy accidents. To say, lets move on and continue racing without trying to prevent further injury is short sighted to say the least.

How about, a little investigation and preventative measures. Deck to deck racing is great as long as the drivers live to race another day.

It is definitely a sad day for boating and the APBA. Jack not only was a great throttlemen and overall boat racing competitor, but a wonderful person and my friend. Jack will be missed by all who have had the pleasure to know him in anyway, this world has truly lost someone special.

Please help to support Jack's family. Information can be found on the APBA and Formula websites.

Jack Stoerrle was a friend and team mate of mine. I enjoyed racing against him and respected the hell out of his abilities. I hope that he felt the same way about me.

Jack will be greatly missed. I hope that the racing and offshore communities come together for Jack's wife, Melanie, and their three children.

My racing partner, Carl Saitta, and I, along with our families and entire racing team, wish to express our heartfelt condolences to Jack's family.

You will always be a champion to me, my friend.

You made me proud to be a Formula owner when I watched you and Eric win the 2000 Worlds in St. Petersburg. Your in a better place now and your memory will never be forgotten. Rest in peace and God bless your family.
