Vortec Maxflow Flame Arrestor
 

I just saw this in an old PRA mag last night. I like it. My stock K&N is a little dinged up, and this looks like a nice upgrade; plus 4-10 HP over stock. I am not expecting any performance gain. I know that is over-inflated marketing BS, that on the dyno they saw .04 to .10 HP increase for one very instant when someone farted some methane infront of the flame arrestor. :D

Does anyone have one? Is the fit and finish sharp? I want the one with a plain face plate, no Vortec logo.

What kinda coin did you shell out for it, and from who?

I am a little disappointed that I called Vortec direct this afternoon, and they could not give me a price for it. They asked me to call back tomorrow. We are already off to a bad start, but I still like the product.

sydwayz, the az speed and marine is the same thing , heard vortec makes them for az speed and marine.
