I just watched a boat sink in Boston Harbor
I am at the Hyatt in Boston (East I think) and we just watched a 35 foot cabin cruiser sink. It was tied to a can in the channel and the stern started to sink...then it pointed straight up and went down. The only thing left is the bow. We watched the whole thing at lunch. The CG and the Eviorn. guys were out there but no salvage has begun. The Eviorn. guys are counting drops of oil, gas, and whatever they can fine you on right now. Nice way to start the season. It was out there for the last few days and it was strange that it was tied up in the shipping lane, maybe to a barge bouy. Please check your thru hulls and shaft seals (who needs those, right).

Hi Mitch, Yea that is a mooring area for barge tie ups. Just of the runway to logan, and almost across from the Hyatt. Not a great place to tie off considering the wakes through that area! Thanks for bringing the cold weather back to Boston MFB
