Promotion is everything. We had the St Pete Grand Prix again this year after many years of no races. They have always drawn well here, and I assure you that St Pete Florida is no Mecca of auto racing. It just that if there is "something going on" and people know about it, they will come. Heck, I guarantee that Ribfest had a hell of a lot more promotion here than the last time we had the Nationals held here. Yes, I'm still bitter about no APBA here last year.
