Sean, those engines look great. Get that mutha fired up before summer is over!!

Since this seems to be a "fix my Cafe up" thread I have a question. Where the engine hatch contacts the bulkhead behind the bench seat there should be some kind of padding. I've tried "hatch tape" that you buy at marine stores, but it just comes loose or "walks". What do you all recommend??

Sean, Try "OLD COACH MOTORS" in Mt. Sinai. They have nothing but trucks there and have quality stuff. One of my drivers just bought an f150 and is very happy with it. I noticed some duallys there you may be interested in. There located on 25a accross from where Davis peach farm used to be. 476-3807, speak to Brian and tell him your a friend of Stan (Robbie's uncle). Can I borrow those motors for a couple of months?

fred...looking for polished or platinum finish...havent decided...

motors have new intakes, carbs, valve covers, exhaust...and i can't wait to hear them bad boys run...

as far as the hatch goes, i have noticed that mine has rubbed through the gel also and haven't looked at doing anything about it yet.

cig88, i've got a friend of a friend who goes to all the auctions in the area and he's got my order...we'll see how he does...but I'll give your guy a call in a week or so...thanks!
