I would like to see some different ideas as to how to store fenders! Nearly all of us have them, so how do you store them? I know there are a lot of creative thinkers out there, so lets see some pics!! Please give boat brand and size if possible. Thanks!!

i store mine in the storage area, right under the rear bench seat , holds 4 of the taylor made 10'' round by 24''long round ones and for the real big ones taylor made about 12-14''round by 30-36'' sizes are approximate i store those in the hanging cloths locker in the cabin, holds 2 of them, and i keep my ropes in the side storage area on each side of the boat each side has 3 ropes,
boat is a big 37 fountain (that equates to a 42 lightning). hope to see you down at the lake ozark this year with the new boat you shouldnt be hard to spot.

On the 24 ft. Baja Outlaw we keep them in the engine compartment in a built in box.
We are heading out there tonight to test props so I will snap a pic. Not creative or anything, that is just where they were when we bought the boat.

42 Sonic, smaller ones fit in the storage in the gunnels in the cockpit. The big ones go in the head on the floor. If I don't get a new boat soon I am going to build a rack out of starboard and put it in the engine compartment.

In the cabin where the porto-potti would be!

That's the first thing to come out of my boats!!! I had to empty one once and won't let that happen again

Does anyone know of a 'clamp' type mechanism that will hold the bigger type bumpers? I want to put them in the gunnels without having them fly out all over the place.

Thanks for ay input!

I keep two 10x24's stacked on top of eachother in the gunwhale trays I made for my 24 Outlaw (wasted space under the guhwhale, I added some marine plywood and carpet here to reclaim it as storage....one of the smarter things I've done to my boat!! ). I keep two 13x30 (?? Not real sure of the exact size, but they are pqite big) behind a net in the forpeak of my v-birth.....they get out once in a while on a real rough run, but there is nothing below the deck on an outlaw that they can break, so I don't worry too much about it. I use the real big ones for the curragated steel wall in Grand Haven when I'm forced to stay there when the marina's are full. They also come in handy at Party Cove for tying up to boat's bigger than mine.
