From T2x - However C.C.A.E.'s (Certified Contact Avoidance Experts) and advertising agencies have convinced the marketplace that the "new" technology actually adds three to five MPH to most hulls.

Default Bumpers

Cars AND trailers have fenders too.

Years ago I called my local West Marine and ordered a trailer fender. I went in days after it was supposed to arrive to pick it up, and the lady went to the back and was back there for a long time. She finally came out and said it didn't come in. I was furious and said WHAT! I ordered it a week ago and it to held for me with my name in this store. She said I'm sorry sir, but I didn't see a fender with your name on it, can you show me in the catalog which one you ordered? When I got to the trailer section, she said ohh, a trailer fender.....She said I moved a trailer fender off the shelf looking for your fender.......

From then on, I called them bumpers.

Fenders without a doubt. Troutly, I am sure you have seen cases when someone used a fender as a bumper (on an auto....car....vehicle). PS, why does no one use this symble It looks good to me
