Hello from Havasu & the Poker Run
Hey all, I am reporting to you live from the beautiful blue waters of Lake Havasu (well actually from an internet cafe, paying three bucks every 15 minutes).
Got up here late Sunday to get the boat ready and catch a few rays. Weather has been windy, overcaste and temps in the high 70's - until today. Blue sky broke out and the temps started to climb a little, ~82 degrees today. Good news is, the water level is at mid-summer highs already. Should be good for the video run up river with Nort.
Tank, when you coming up? Is the caravan taking off tomorrow? Give me a call on the cell.
p.s. Don't forget to bring Kelly
p.s.s. Boating season starts in 42 hours

Hey UT, I almost made the trip to write for the mag but the airfare got too expensive cause we waited too long. I know Mike from Extreme Boats will be there to cover the event.
Have fun....and don't work too hard.. I worry about you.

Yea we will be there... It is an "Extreme Boats America" event.
Anyone that has an Extreme Boat that they think should be featured in the Magazine and is attending the event, should look for me on Thursday or Friday Morning

Uncle Toys: How's it going? Glad to see you are back on the water!
I have to tell you that the video Nort did is one of my all time favorites! I love the music as well as the boats and scenery!
Enjoy yourselves, you know we only get one chance at this living thing. Do it right!

I heard this morning that the water level was climbing so I called the Marina. They still said no boats over 36' will be allowed on their ramp. The new owners are a$$holes.
This should be interesting to see where averybody decides to launch, the Marina has the best ramp. DSM is planning on launching a 46' Skater from Windsor which should also be interesting

Reporting live again from the shore of the beautiful blue Lake Havasu.
Drove over at lunch to pick up the boat. Had the oil changed and the boat waxed - gotta look *****en for the poker run so Extreme puts us in their mag
The weather is sooooo awesome (84), I just couldn't drive back. So I've been cruising around the city with the windows down waving at other boats. The sky is so clear and blue it's just got to get even hotter tomorrow!
Tried to park at the Natical Inn and go say hi to LakeRacer et al, but no room to park the rig. Went down to the channel and saw Board God #1 cruising in his carbon fibor Cig. Also saw, Cig1's Cafe Racer, DSM's Baja, Jim's Tiger and the Tiger painted like the flag.
Only tenty more hours until the start of boating season
Still....where's Tank
