Default How to measure and order rub rail?

Maybe a dumb question but what length rub rail for a 30' Sonic? Do I just measure from the center of the stern all the way around? Most places offer 70' length. Is that enough for a 30' boat?

Thanks

I did my 31 formula and it was @83 foot around the boat.

70' seems a little light to me. I know my boat has several sections of rub rail on it most likely 20' lengths or so. I'm going to replace mine as well and will probably get the replacement from these people

This is probably a dumb question, but how did you put that link in there by typing "these people"?

Copy the link to the page you want to reference, then when you are typing your reply and reach that point in your message hit the http tag in the vB Code section. It will ask you for the text you want displayed then the link that you can paste in.

I pulled a tape around the boat at the rubrail. For a 20 foot Formula, it measured 50 feet. I'd buy up to the next joint size bigger.
