I keep a cheap set of wrenches, sockets, allens, and screwdrivers.
Also some wire, electrical connections, wirestrippers, cheap multimeter, zip ties, electrical and duct tape, spare distributor cap/rotor, plugs, scissors, lighter, and shop towels, a few nuts and bolts.....all in a 50mm airtight ammo can.;) Also a few shoulder fired missles to ward off any customs agents:crazy: :D |

Originally posted by Cord I got so frustrated with never having the right tool. So I stopped carrying tools. Now I know that I don't have the right one. Nonetheless, I keep a small socket set, a few screwdrivers of different shapes and sizes, wire-ties, duct tape, electrical tape, a set of various fuses, and of course some extra fluids. |
A multi-tool like a Leatherman in the glovebox. Very handy to grab and tighten stuff quick! Larger set in a carry case with a bunch of stuff from past experience needs!! Good Luck

I also carry one of those plastic prop wrenches. Had a nice metal one that I managed to add to the bottom of the Long Island Sound trying to do an in water prop change. I don't carry expensive tools because even a drop of salt water reeks havic on any nice tools.

I always put the Booster Pack on the boat before heading out. Can't count how many times someone else has needed it. Luckily it hasn't been me yet.
