I might be wrong but as I remember the Scarabs being....26' Single Engine Sprint or Sportster, 30' Twin Engine Scarab, and the 34' Super - Sport with either twin Outboards or IO's. We used to run a 30' Scarab, (29' sump'thun), to fish and party out of and for the money, it was hard to beat !!! I think Wellcraft made a big mistake when they took it off the lines. I like the idea with a cuddy. Wardey

P.S. With twin 250 Yamadoggers and a T-Top, full of fuel, ice and beer we would run high 50's.....but we had fun. Wardey

T tops are best for function being out of the way cover with electronics boxes, radar ect. with no mounts on gunnel.
Arches are nice and look cooler with bimini only drawback is for hardcore fishing they limit 360 degrees manuverability (have to pass the rod around arch) when big game fish are on.

Mine had hydraulic jack plates that would boost performance on flat water and throw one hell of a roostertail.
