Looks like they took a hacksaw and cut the arch off. If not, I wonder what those things are that rise up on the sides.

I'd like to get me a couple of them there aluminum cranks. Must be pretty light. Thats not a real good handling boat. Drove one once and it was very hard to control over 55 or 60 mph.
