WALKIN THE DOG,

Same boat with the same crew. I changed gear ratio last summer to get my mid range acceleration back. New XR pinion gears like most everyone else.

Looks like we will bring the boy in the bubble camper top with us, just in case it snows. We did a run last October in 45 raining weather with tops up and we were warm with shorts and Teeshirt. Love them scoops.

See ya Friday. We are staying in the same building as Sydwayz.

I've checked three weather sites. This is the best forecast so far (I'm trying to be an optimist).

Saturday 5/17
Times of clouds and sun
High 71° F / Low 47° F

Sunday 5/18
Partly sunny
High 68° F / Low 48° F

I am calling and checking weather like every 6 hours. It should be OK.

Some of the Carolina Power Boat Assoc members are doing that run I will get them to look you up and see if we can get the clubs together. Or call me at 704-634-9004

David - Sorry to hear that. Our update - trailer still being built, motor still in Miami being rebuilt. Weather is not looking promising either - from the weather.com website for Charlotte, NC:

Thu
May 15 Rain 70°/57° 70 %
Fri
May 16 Partly Cloudy 80°/56° 20 %
Sat
May 17 Partly Cloudy 71°/53° 20 %
Sun
May 18 Rain 57°/52° 70 %

I just don't think it is in the cards this time (pun intended!)

I'm not sure I will repeat last year. Does anyone know if they may reschedule or if is going to be held rain/shine/or freeze to death?
