why is it every time i list a boat on ebay you guys tear it up how many of you can even afford a 42 anything. it is still a fountain and it really is not as bad as you make it out to be! 80k for this boat is a steal but the reserve is far less . dont judge a boat by its seats !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't beleive that boat is a 98. Didn't they have white dashes in 98? The gauges and dash look much older than a 98. BTW, those VIN are not from the factory.

mpally the hull is just like mine first year for the big steps and the strakes run parrelell with the bottom and not ending into anything the earlier boats the strakes curve into the keel in the bow area as for as the vin thats the way my 42 looks, like it was etched into glass with a dremal tool. i would say that it is a fair price for the boat but not a great deal if your concern is to try and restore back to original, to bad it has the small hp 502 motors, if your looking for a foundation to build a poker run, custom boat six man etc. probably a good start. and the black dash is probably stock, white out package was a option when i ordered mine in 98.
