Mate 229,
Anybody remember the Jersey Shore Beer Bike marathon? 10 miles and 14 bar stops, had to drink beer at each and get stamped then on to the next. Too many crashes from drunk riders falling off ended it after a couple years, but what a great event it was. Great party at last stop. If it is, the wife and I were part of the first rally (Annual Beer and Bike Rally). The party for the survivors was at a friends house in Island Heights (I think). What a blast. Try to picture 20 or so drunks trying to ride their bikes to the next bar. It was fun. |

Can ya still get a Tomatoe Pie at the Shore? About the only place they called it that. Wildwood Boardwalk where we felt continental picking up French Canadian Babes or Philly Chicks.
Jana, you were close had some friends in Fords. Gonna be up there in a couple weeks look around the old homestead (Brick, last place I lived). Hope to make the races down the shore. |
