Pantera question
I noticed that their are two different type of cockpit fairings on Pantera boats.
Some are the same height all the way across, and some are more pointy in the middle.
Which one looks better?
Why the difference?
Anyone?
Beuler? Beuler?
Anyone?

I agree on the angled fairing, but what I meant was there seems to be two types of angled fairings.
I noticed one boat had one that was taller in the middle of the fairing, meaning that the height of the fairing increase towards the middle. Then another boat I saw the height was constant all the way across...
Maybe I am going insane in the membrane....

Farirings..
The 24 has the option of either the "V" or the straight fairing, depending on the interior you choose.
I'm sure Jo will add more here, but I think the 28 only gets the "V", unless you elect for the full race dash..then maybe you'll get the option of straight across.
My 28 has the "V", and looks good. However, wind protection/deflection is only marginal.

I have the 24 with the V fairing, It allows for a cabin door and a cabin with 2 sit down buckets and a 6ft6' v- birth. The cockpit is a little bigger as well.
The fairing that is strait across has a crawl in cabin that is much more difficult to enter andI believe only has a v-birth.
The bow is longer and the cockpit is smaller

Okay, I see... I guess it just appears to be taller. My bad.
Kitten, it was your boat I was looking at on the Pantera website that made me think it was taller in the middle.
Thanks for the input, I'll shut up now...

Dog you are correct... The older race boats have one faring and the sport boats have a different fairing. I can't find a close up but I believe that this is what you mean on the stepped fairing. On the black race boat there is even a different fairing
