Default OT: Boot! or other diesel hopper upper

What choices do I have for a 1999 Dodge Cummins automatic in the way of upgrades (preferably cab-adjustable upgrades)??

I have free flow exhaust and a K&N kit on it, and am now curious as to whose chip/kit gives the best bang for the buck. I have gotten prices on the Edge mod, but want some feedback from you guys who do this fir a living.

Thanks
Mike

The problem isn't hopping up the engine. It's a easy plug & play. It's trying to make the trans live. You only have a 4spd 727 from the 70's behind your diesel.

Cord said it all. First look at hopping up the Tranny and then the motor otherwise you will eat trannies left and right

Either the Western Diesel fueling box or Edge EZ would be just fine on that truck.

My 2001 Cummins has straight thru muffler, WD air filter, Edge EZ , 275 rv injectors and an EGT and Boost gauge . I followed what someone else did and thier truck made 316hp and 640ft/lbs at the rear wheels on a chassis dyno.
I also have an auto and am about maxed out with what I can do without driving over the trans.
I am totally happy with the truck , it rocks on the freeway and gets 18-21 mpg .

Ive been Happy with the Edge on my Duramax, no problems, easy to work with. Just ordered a 2004 6.0 litre Powerstroke, will probably go the same route if they offer the same horsepower/Torque product, they really help, but make sure you get an exaust and gages. Boot can help you out.
