It's a good launch. Use the slip on the left, it is newer. I once backed my 23 foot John Alman off the end of the ramp on the right one, it was the only ramp at that time. Oh yeah, it was in February and it was a steel trailer. Froze my nutz off wading out to lift it up over the end of the ramp.

Ya, it's a nice launch, pretty secluded. If I had to guess, I'd say there are about 40 parking spots for trucks and trailers. So get there early(unless you can wait for your brother to bring the trailer home). The ramps are in pretty good shape, grooved, but like Cuda said, be careful at low tide, they may be a bit short.

Steve, is that the Anclote sand bar? I heard something about alcohol being banned from there? Damn someone really hates boaters.

You can drink on the island as long as your feet are wet.

Technically, it would be okay anywhere below the high tide water line.

Another potential loss to the enviro-whackos...

One of the islands we go to, I can't bring my dog there anymore between April 15 and July 15...maybe it's horseshoe crab mating season or something stupid like that.....WTF?!
