Merc. 496 mag. ho. what syn. oil and weight ?

I run 15 w 50 in my 500s but not shure in the 496s

15w50 will be fine in the boat clearances same on both motors
just let it warm up good

I run Mobil 1 - 15W 50 in a ProCharged 496HO.
