Question Another sythetic engine oil question?

Ok...yet ANOTHER synthetic oil question. I have a slightly modified 502MPI and I don't do a whole lot of long, high speed, high RPM runs and I already bought a case of Amsoil 10w-40 as that is what I was told to use for my application. Is the 10w-40 a high enough viscosity or should I mix it with some heavier Amsoil? I plan on changing the oil every 20 hours or so but just want to make sure I protect the engine enough.

Anyone with advice please reply. Sorry for yet another post about synthetic oil.

Dave

Default oil oil engines life blood

The 10w40 will do just fine if you ran the boat harder it may help to use the 50 but ,really the 40 will do just fine ,we use it in about every thing
