I ran it last year. They made the announcement to the people that had paid to enter pre run at Liberty Landing.
Not everyone followed this rule as there were a lot of people that did not pay that were tagging alone so to speak, waiting for the group to leave and they were on plane moving through the pack to the front where the faster boats were before the GW Bridge. There were supposed to be the Cats on one side of the river and the V's on the other. Didn't work out that way either. It seems like it takes forever to get to the GW Bridge at an idle from Liberty Landing, I guess if you don't do anything stupid you will not have to worry about a ticket. Never saw a Coast Guard boat come to think of it. |
Hi Billy
Hi Billy, how are you doing?

The helicopter will continue to "pick-up" boats that have not been videod/photographed, on the South side/Jersey side of the George Washington Bridge for photo shoots. and run with them toward Liberty Landing Marina. Welcome to the board!! Have you been lurking for a long time? I have a slip reservation for Friday night and am planning on having the commentators and son;) on board to cover the run. I'll sign up for the party when we arrive! Damn! I hope the weather is better than we have been having! |
