I WATCHED SOME OF THE RACE ON Web CAM AT exit98.com/nj surf. The race lasted about 1 hour no?
|
The wet pits were at the Laurelton Yacht Club in Brick NJ (Princeton Ave)
Darren that sounds like a great site to watch future races! could you list the site address for those of us who are computer illiterate? I'm not racing on Carrabbas this year, attempting to put my own boat together! Bob |
SURE BOB, it's www.exit98.com/njsurf.htm cam changes every 30 sec.

I'm back. Wet and tired. Now I have to write the article about the race while it's fresh in my mind.
Darren, me Krispy Kreme???? How did you know about my love for Krispy Kreme? But no, I didn't take any today, actually no food at all. Bob, nice write up. Wait till Peconic gets home, he took a ton of shots. Some are in the racers area from yesterday. What I really wanted to say was that Jeff from Freeze Frame said this was the best race he's filmed (jumping exciting racing) in many many years. We also had a pro photographer on Pace Boat 2 who stayed at the southern straight and got a bunch of huge air shots. They'll be posted on www.njsportpics.com look under on line proofs. They will probably be up later tonight. |

The photos are already posted at www.njsportpics.com. Wait till you see these shots.
Only 14 boats. I guess most got scared away by the weather reports. Hell, we raced in the rain most of the day. And it went like this. |
