Hello Everyone,

I wanted to take a moment to send out a big thank you to everyone who participated in this past weekend's NJPPC Poker Run. Once again mother nature proved that this is one of the worst Spring Seasons we have had in a long time.

Our special guests Powerboat Magazine made this Atlantic City Poker Run one that will be very tough to forget. The chopper pilot that was flown in for the event was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! The common theme of the comments at the bar Saturday afternoon was "I thought the chopper was going to land on my boat at 80-90-100mph!"

The following is part of an email I received from Brett Becker today in regard to their visit:

"Dave, we had a ball. Your club stages a top-shelf event. You should be proud.

Barnegat Bay is a fantastic place. I envy you all that protected water and great places to go by boat.

We appreciated everyone's hospitality, and we enjoyed meeting all your members. Chuck Sprague already sent us a quick e-mail.

Thanks again. Have a great season.

Brett Becker, editor
Powerboat magazine"

I also had a chance to speak with the photographer Tom Newby today. Tom is going to provide me with a CD that will contain ALL of the photos from the event!!! I will post them on the www.njppc.com website once I receive them and will provide instructions on how to contact Tom Newby to order prints.

Also - Congrats to our winners!

1st Place: Bob & Chuck Post
2nd Place Dan Lawler - Active Thunder Powerboats
3rd Place Jim & Carrie Courtney
Sportsman Award John Ruggeri

If you did not make our Atlantic City Poker Run, you will not want to miss our next event - Barnegat Bay Poker Run Saturday June 28th.

Hope to see you then!

Best Regards,
Dave Patnaude
