Thumbs up Cheap Tools (or good tools cheap)

From time to time the talk of buying some cheap tools "just in case" comes up.
Well here's your chance to buy some made in the USA cheap.

During Craftsman Club days (June 1-7) check out these deals:

Craftsman 7 piece wrench set Reg 19.99 Sale 9.99 Craftsman club discount 8.99
After $5 Mail in rebate $3.99!!!!!

4 bucks for 7 wrenches!

Craftsman 11 piece 3/8 socket set with rack Reg 19.99 Sale 9.99 Craftsman club discount 8.99

Craftsman 8 piece 3/8 high visibility socket set with rack Reg 19.99 Sale 10.99 Craftsman club discount 9.89

All Standard or metric, Lifetime warr. made in the USA and it helps me keep my job!

I'm sure I sound like a corporate shill but with these prices all my vehicles have a set of wrenches and sockets in the trunk.!

The Craftsman Club discount is an additional 10% off on Craftsman tools. Sears sends out a sale flier about every other month. All you have to do is fill out a form in the tool department, they will then send you a card (looks like a credit card). Discount only applies to Craftsman tools.

Nothing beats Ebay.

I get all my company and personal tools there.

Craftsman ok to keep in the boat, in case you drop them overboard or they get rusty, but I'll stick with my MAC TOOLS in the garage.

Of course, I could be bias in my preference.

Do us a favor and ask about Craftsman's warranty. I heard from a buddy of mine who is a mechanic that Sears and/or Craftsman is doing away with part/all of their lifetime warrranty. I hope not cuzz almost all of my hand tools are Craftsman.

I used to work at sears in the tool dept selling tools......look at the fine print on the tool you buy if you think it has a lifetime warrantee or not......most of the hand tools like wrenches and pliers and such do carry the lifetime.....but other only carry a limited one year...like rivet guns...tool belts....and such.....just a heads up before you go into the storm looking for a replacement and get all pissed of when some pimply punk kid tells you to go stick it where the sun dont shine!
