Well, I'm done for a while. Where can I get new fuel tanks and what kind?

Went down to the boat to try and figure out why it is not running right and discovered fuel leaking out the drain plug (I pulled the plug to let the water drain out that accumulated during the thunderstorm yesterday. Turns out I have a ruptured fuel tank.

Anyone know where I can get a new one?

There are several fuel cell companies out there. I am not sure of their names. If you look in any HP boating magazines there are ads galore for them. Or, you can simply wait 10 seconds and someone here will give the answer I am sure. One thing to be careful of. When installing and using the expanding foam. Be EXTREMELY careful, as that foam expands a TREMENDOUS amount and can crush the new fuel cell. Good luck. I am sure you will be back up in a jiffy.

Your tank should have a sticker on it with the capacity and manufacturer. They will have your tank in their computer and should be able to make the exact replacement for you. I've done it several times and never had a problem.

How about a local welding fabrication shop to make copies of what you got? I know of 5 on LI that do this Tripps

As Tripps said we can get it welded or duplicated locally. If you want to go with a different composite check out some of those adds.
Paul is going to come by with me tonight and we will hopefully get the old one out to see what it is all about.
Ill call you later and let you know what time we are going to be there.
