fuel consumption

ok somebody with big power 750hp up give me the scoop on your fuel consumption. typical weekend how many gallons do you burn. can you chug-a-lug them 2500-3000rpm or do the need to be running in the 4000rpm and above all the time, real world experience one weekend after another how do they hold up?

$150-300 per weekend. I had $600+ coming back from taxes at I think 17 cents to the gallon.

Above 4000 70% most of the time so I burn about 75-150 gallons per weekend depending on where I am staying on the lake. I used to sometimes stay up the Gravious about six miles which always made a good run up to PC. That's where I was when we ran up last Labor Day!!!
But usaully staying right around Grand Glaze now so the only big run I typically do is just from Berger's and back.

1000 toatal hp.

Good topic

Dave, as much as you run, your bill is going to be high. But why have it if your not going to use it. Have you had and bites on your boat yet? I keep going by your house expecting to see a 47 Fountain or Apache sitting on a new dock.
