Yours is the 1987 listed at TNT? Looks very nice and is a good part of what is pushing me to look for one (would need to sell the existing boat though).

Hi Guy, Hi Cowisl

Cowisl, You have already heard the correct answers, I have spoken to Peter about this subject, My opinion (only my opinion) is as an outboard boat (2) engines the boat is a lot of fun, light, easy to own, trailer, launch etc. but it is still big enough to be good in the rough. (3) engines is tough to live with as a pleasure boat, ( I don't hate myself enough to run (3) outboards )
as far as (2) outboards, 300x's are the only way to go for the time being, the (2) 2.5's will not have enough torque, the 300x's have NOT been the most dependable engines I have ever owned, (to say the least) but until Merc. unveils their new (do I dare say) 4 stroke, the 300x's are the only game in town. Peter has told me he was always happy the way the "Classic" ran with O/B's, It was conceived to run O/B's, "P" class race boat. The sponson cross section was happiest with the weight of the O/B"s, the new 32' has completely different sponson geometry and cross section to accommodate the inboards, weather it #6's or Bravos. The "New" or High Deck or "B" would only be at my dock with a pair of Naturally aspirated 650's or 700's hooked up to #6's. When I hit the lottery you guys will all be invited to go boating. Aw what the hell, when I hit the lottery I will buy each one of you guys 32's with #6's.

Phillip:

Your generosity with money you don't have is admirable.

Soon you'll be giving away things other people own.;)

Best to the "Dutch Mona Lisa"
