...talked to a lot of automotive people in the last week and where as nobody can agree on a brand...everybody thinks Mobil 1 is great....I like RP too....and I hear RP gear lube is great stuff from the auto industry....the will it absorb water issue in the dive question comes up...but everyone agrees if you change it every 25 hours..shouldn't be a problem unless a seal is shot...I can't find Sint available in the USA...and since AMG MB recommends Mobil 1 and they did big time testing...on 500 HP blower racing engines...it's got to be good...and a Mobil 1 fliter is the best commercially available except for the Amsoil fliter which is just bigger....if you use a regular GM filter you can change just the filter every 10 hrs....a friend of mine does that and tops off the Mobil 1...it all sounds crazy but they have cars that have driven 400,000 miles they tell me....and it's all from changing fluids very frequently..

hey my friend Mr. Capo....99cent oil these days is pretty good stuff...I think frequency is the most important thing...how are you doing thses days?

..synthetics are probably overkill as they were originally made for turbines and then extended oil changes..i think Porsche says 15,000 between oil changes with Mobil 1.....

...what you are doing probably is the smartest thing for your car
