Got that beat for a fraction of the cost. 531hp in a stock bore Suzuki Hayabusa. Heres the link:

300hp bikes are getting common with the new motors and available turbos.

A beast like no other, this four-wheel motorcycle has a 500 hp Viper V-10 engine. It goes 0-60 in 2.5 seconds and has a potential top speed of nearly 400 mph. Chrysler says there's an "appetite for a vehicle such as this in a limited production run."

I think this one will eat that turbine up...LOL

Estimated Top Speed: 250 mph
1/4 Mile: 9.80 @ 160 mph
0-227 mph in 15.0 sec. !!!!! Wow, I don't even want to go there. Wardey

That Dodge Tomahawk may do 400mph on a dyno, but never in the real world. The thing is a brick. The world speed reord for single engine street legal motorcycles was set last year on a turbo Suzuki Hayabusa that made 450hp. It only went 247mph. The ET record for street legal motorcycles is held by a friend of mine, Kent Stotz on his factory backed turbo Honda Blackbird that maked 540hp at the dyno shootout during bike wek in Daytona. The bike runs 7.70's at over 190mph on a street tire with no wheelie bars. These bike run in the AMA Prostar Shootout class and you pretty much have to be in the 7's to qualify.

Heres a link if your fast bikes:

busa is not a first bike.
ducs are cool but also not eth greatest first bike. PLus they require more mainteneance, most italian bieks do.

Check out any of the jap 600cc bikes. Plenty fast, they handle well and there are planty of add on parts. plus tyou can pick them up pretty cheaply. If your intereste di have an r6 with abotu 8k miles on it (its down in florida still) i'm thinking abtou selling. it already has lots of add ons. PM me if your interested.

I agree with Puder,, "busa is NOT a first bike,, friend of mine owns a Suzuki dealer here and there is a 03 busa with 3 miles on it wrecked,,, less then one mile on it from the owner,,, guy bought it went one block, turned the corner, goosed it in the azz and hit a telephone pole.

Tommy, with what you will pay for insurance on a busa at your age you could damn near buy a new boat

I have a freind selling his 92 katana 600, I think he wants 2k for it, not sure of the miles but it would be a great starter.

My personal advise to you is (DONT BUY ONE!! period!)
you will either wind up dead or in jail. My .02
