attn: merc. parts distributors !
guys am looking for merc pn# 809664a1 which is a prop zinc kit (prop nut assembly that holds a bullet shaped zinc anode on prop shaft ). this kit is for bravo 1 drives. the kit was on back order for 2002 and got release in may of 2003 but the problem is : the box that the assembly comes in is marked with the right merc pn# but the prop nut is the wrong thread size !! the correct nut thread should be fine and the one in the box is course !! if some one can get this kit for me and can test it on a bravo 1 drive to verify it will thread on the shaft ( mine is a 1998 )i would be interested in a few kits .
