Djd, Now Hear This!
Hey, we had Summer on a Saturday this year! Flat water, light breeze, a little cool on the water, (but it always is), not a cloud in the sky, and we spent the day on the boat. What a nice ride!

You'll notice I didn't ask how he likes running at 15 knots, although he DOES have all the sport-cruiser ammenities like icemaker, air/heat, gennie, stand-up head, shower, a door you can walk through,,,,,,,,,,,oh, and he doesn't need a cannon to shoot himself up to dock level, he can just step right onto the dock,,,,,,,,,,,and he can use cool words like lazzarette, flybridge, upper station, stateroom,,,,,,,,,,diesel,,,,,,,,,,,,,

DJD is in North Carolina this weekend...I think he may have actually seen the sun..!
I think that he has adjusted well to the 42 Post...Especially after the NYC Poker Run...It rained the entire trip back to CT...We were bone dry in the flybridge... (not to mention the fact that not a drop of Corona was spilled!!)

Dave,
I just isn't the same around Great Lakes without you and Barb. It was a beautiful week end. Talk about having patience. "Fun 4 Us" has a dead cylinder, and probably shouldn't be run, but it was such a beautiful day, I couldn't resist.
We took an 18 mile (17.8 on GPS) ride, at no more than 1,500 rpms. That is quite a step from Donzi with Nirtrous, to 8.5 mph. But it was great to be out on the water.
We will be gone over the 4th and the following week end. Jane's dad rented a place on Deep Creek Lake in Md for another family reunion. Place sounds awesome. 7 baths, 2 half baths, 8 bedrooms, indoor pool, etc. Swing by Greatl Lakes when you are in the area and say hi.

Bill. we ran there from G.H. on Sunday but it was later, around 4:30, when we got there.
Waterspeed, I'm glad he's got an enclosure on the bridge. Otherwise y'all woulda been down in the salon having some nice cold ones while he was doing his Gilligan imitation,,,,,,or was that the skipper,,,,,?
