Buck,
As far as the service, I think it is going to be up to the Leer Dealer such as yourself.
From what I am told, the dealer I went through was having a tough time with the Leer Service when it was being handled under one Corporate Center in the Midwest. He says it has gone back to Regional Centers now and things have been much better.
My dealer spent almost 2 hours retorqueing all the window screws and we had a hard time making the passenger side latch lock- in when trying to close. The lock is still a minor issue, but I just give that side an extra slam after closing...
Also, the glass on the passenger side is warped about 1/4 of inch. I notified him of it, but I am willing to live with it as long as I don't see leakage over time when the seal begins to shrink.
Let me know if you have seen this warpage on the glass. It is in the back/right/side. If they all come that way do to a poor mold, then I won't consider replacing it in the future.
When all warranty was finished, I asked him about me having to sign something so that they get paid for their time from Leer. He said he just eats the small stuff like this and will not back charge them for it. This way, when he needs something BIG taken care of, he has no problems...
So far the dealer's service has been good.

Thanks Marty!

I may be available next season... Unless of course the phone company cuts everything to the bone and I'll be back to 7 day work weeks....

I am already hauling for boat shows now that things have slowed down at Verizon...

Thanks Hot Duck!

I have hauled a some boats for the shows, and seems to pull real nice... especially on inclines! It's like the truck doesn't even know it's going up a hill...

Sharkey,

I'm glad to hear that your dealer is going to bat for you. It sounds like he is doing everything in his power to make it right for ya.

I'm getting my first 100XQ in about 12 days. I'll take a look at the window you mentioned.

Looking forward to a succesful relationship with this company.

Buck

DPT Motorsports & I headed out to the Philly OSO Party Saturday night. To our surprise, we got 19.1 Avg. MPG.
She must be finally getting broken in. I picked up 2 mpg without doing anything. This is still stock.
What can I expect if I chip it, put on the K&N air filters along with a stainless exhaust???
