Got this noisy, smelly, 97 PSD because we owned a 34’ 5th wheel at one time. My boat is a 22’. The diesel is a constant reminder of my youth when my dear old Dad (now gone) would take us (3 Bros) in the RR trains all the time and let us take turns driving. I was always exposed to the diesel fumes and sounds so it is a constant pleasurable reminder of those days and of him!!

Right now it is a toss up for me between the Ford F250 Crew 4x4 or the Dodge 2500 Crew 4x4. I will even accept a dually if the price is right. Currently a local Dodge dealer has a 2003 in stock.
I will be putting my current truck up for sale soon.

FORD F650
Actually, this truck belongs to my boat dealer. What a tow vehicle, you don't feel the boat behind you at all! I use a 3/4 ton suburban 4x4 w/ 8.1 engine. Pulls the boat great, the rear airbags really help!

I tow with a 01' Dodge 2500 4x4, quad-cab, V-10, auto, 4:10 gears. Just started having a trans. issue, does not want to go back into low gear when you come to a stop. Apparently this comes up a lot. An electronic pressure sensor has gone bad. Supposed to be an easy fix. I tow an 89' Formula 311-SR1. The truck doesn't even know "Outlaw" is back there. Gas mileage is only about a mile per gallon less than my 99 360 4x4 (same truck basically). Overall I'm happy with it, though it rides a little rough when empty.
