WOW!! What a FANTABULOUS weekend I had. All thanks to these awesome friends. Friday morning excavator, his son minime, and myself depart from Stony Point, NY on the Hudson River and head south toward Manhattan. Cruising at 50 we approach the northern end of the city. We are about to head into the Harlem River as The Circle Line is exiting the Harlem River and entering the Hudson. As I begin to turn into the Harlem River the swing bridge begins to close! We make a quick turn to the starboard and contact the bridge operator. We wait for 20 minutes or so for the trains to pass and the bridge to re-open. We cruise south past Yankee Stadium and through Hell's Gate, around the southern tip of Manhattan and up the short run to Chelsea Piers for lunch. After lunch we continued south out into the Atlantic and on to Manasquan inlet. Shortly thereafter we arrive at Tantrum's GORGEOUS HOME on the Bay. All I can say is WOW what a place. Saturday was the Poker Run and what a blast. First thing in the am Tantrum, Christine, Hot Boat, Chevy-girl, excavator, Mrs. excavator , mini-me and myself hooked up with Thuderdan and his lovely other half Jackie and the little ones. What a wonderful family! Dan's Thunderstorm..... let's just say UNBELIEVABLE and EXACTLY LIKE NOTHING ELSE! What a SWEET ride that 37 AVH is. Hot Boat and excavator's boats both ran EXTREMELY well and we even saw around 6 porpoises! Saturday night was the party and dinner and we had a great time with great friends. This morning excavator, Mrs. excavator, mini-me and myself ran back to Stony Point. I could not have asked for a better weekend with better friends at a more beautiful home. Thanks again everyone and we'll see you soon!

It was another great run put on by Dave P and the NJPPC. The weather was nice, the boat ran well and it was a fun run. I also got a chance to met some new people, including Shane. It was nice to met you and I will get you that ride.
