Discount Auto, Autozone, PepBoys, etc. will accept waste oil.
Our recycling center takes it too but the auto stores are closer.
Some of the stores here have a limit as to how much you can bring in at one time. So I just hit two places.

I have two 2.5 gallon antifreeze containers that I've used for five years to dump oil into. Makes it easy to haul it up to the parts store.
