Thank god I was asleep for this
Fell asleep around 6 last night....mom got in another accident, first with her Firebird which is still in the shop, driving my thunderbird piece of crap and crashed that. Not totaled, hood, front bumper and left fender is smashed up a bit, lights are trash. Then as shes on the phone with insurance co (read SCAM ARTIST) she asks what my insurance will be on the car. They say 850 with good student discount for liability only. 2 months ago it was 510 w/ good student discount, 670 w/o. So now that my insurance is that much, I will be working, not for my 4.3 rebuild, but so I can drive a car. Then I get to go to all the local junkyards finding these parts.... 160k, some blow by is starting to come around...Gona fix it, re paint it, and sell for 2k and buy a new car. Anyone have a decent nice car that can be quick for not a lot of $? Now Im going to go blow off all this steam, boat has over 3/4 tank...how long till you think I will have it on E?

I'm glad to hear that your Mom is ok.
Seems to me though, if SHE wrecked it and caused your insurance to rise, then she should help you pay it. You had nothing to do with it.
