puder, you might try calling pro-glass in Il. 630-553-3141 ask for Bob as he can make you one out of Lexan if you can send him that one or a template of what you need?? or maybe try Lakeland plastics at 616-846-0261, they also may be able to help....I hope this helps..

Scrab Windshield

Its easy Puder,, it just takes $$$$$ ,, the best deal I found is Fla. Tank and Marine they bought the molds from Wellcraft over the years and will make the Windshield parts to factory spec ,, they bolt right on ,,, the shipping cost is worse than the purchase price. try 1305-620-9030,,, I think her name was Marie,,,, hope it helps

What year Scarab Puder? I found a windshield glass for a friend last month his was a '94 but sounded like they had tons of these glasse parts. Need part # from Wellcraft with your HIN#. I talked to Customer service I think Jill at;
Taylor Made
1900 47th Terrace East, Bradenton, FL 34203
Tel: 941-747-1900 • Fax: 941-749-5000

That one glass (1/2 of the front windshield)was $164. ended up $214 with gasckets and shipping to VT.

This what I did

I had an old Checkmate with the same problem. Down the street from my shop is a powdercoating shop with a large oven. I took the old windshield which was in three pieces like yours and used pop rivets and small straps on the front to hold the pieces together. I then covered the backside with masking tape and laid figerglass cloth and resion and made a mold. After 5 or 6 layers of cloth, I had a pretty decent and strong mold. I then put a few 1x2 boards to strenghten the curves on the backside of the mold. After a little sanding and a little body filler I was ready. I bought a 4x8 sheet of plexiglass and cut out a piece and took in to the powdercoating shop. The owner (the owner races offshore powerboats) had one of his guys stay after work and use the oven. The first one came out ok, but we got sand (from the gloves) in the plexiglass. The second one came out fine. It's a lot of work, and you have to find a shop with a oven, but it is an alternative. Some body shops with a good heated paint booth may reach a high enough temp.
