A GN at 16?
I was trying to figure out how to get one at 26!
Drove one at the Buick dealership, but decided that a Honda Accord hatchback made more sense. Ordered a Honda.

Before it came in, sanity shook me out of it and I bought a used Anniversary '82 Vette (crossfire) instead.

My car/boat/rv/harley collector friend had a GNX turbo. He still has a '70 GSX Stage1 car and a '72 GS 4 speed ragtop (both for sale).

How lucky were you to have a GN at 16? I would have wiped myself out at that age with that car.

Very lucky. Here's the way it "fell" into my lap. My grandmother used to drive an hour to work at night at the post office. My dad and family didn't want her driving some big old car home late. So, he bought a brand new Grand National for her! Anyway, I begged for it when I turned 16, grandma wasn't workin at the P.O. anymore, so I got it. It wasn't a GNX but it was still super sweet.

I bought my 69/Z in sept. 73 the beginning of my senior year of high school. Still drive it to about 4 or 5 local shows a year. Restored it about 12 years ago. All original, it has a 302 motor in it but the original DZ motor is in the corner of the garage, fold down back seat, black hounds tooth interior, factory 8 track, rosewood wheel. stainless steel chambered exhaust.

My wife ordered the 97 SS 30th Anniversary #67 what an awesome car but she finally got tired of it and we sold it this spring. I put the wings west ground effects on it to make it a little differant.

My daughter drives a 95 camaro that I fixed up with the SS package an some nice wheels and stripes. I tried to dig out some pictures but can't find them.
