As usual, a few people love to knock Fountain! Anyway, yes I have a very clean, sweet 2000 Fountain 29 Fever with a HP500 for sale. It starts everytime and fly's at 74+mph on GPS ( 77-78 on the Gaffrig speedo). I am only selling this boat due to me losing my left leg back in February and I need a boat that is easier to work on (ie no blidge, I'm getting outboards, hose it out and you're done)!

As far as Fountains 29 Fevers size I have no problem with it and I'm a big guy. I'm 6'5" tall and before my accident I was a athletic 258lbs. I also can sit comfortably in the U shaped lounge in the cabin and lay down in the V berth. The cabin has a sink, counter top and built in cooler, great mood lighting plus excellent storage area's. The Fountain bolster seats are very nice and snug and the dash bottom is padded for you to lock your legs in and the angle of the footreat is very good too. You want your bolsters to fit snug to give you support in heavy seas. The distance from the front bolsters to the rear seat is plenty and enough for even me to stretch my legs out.

I'm certainly not going to nock the 288 Sunsation as it is a very good looking well built boat but to me the 29 Fountain cockpit does seem to have a bit more leg room and depth. Also check out the 28 Pantera too. If you buy a new 28 Pantera Jo will customize the boat to fit you but you will need more power to get it to the 29 Fountains speeds.
If you want a like new slightly used 29 Founatin check this out.

I will work with you on price! My boat is currently on display at Lightning Bay Marine in St. Petersburg, FL (Tampa area)

I though with Fountains you had to subtract 2 feet for the
beak :D :D so a 29 is really a 27 :D
