Okay, Okay, I might have been under-estimating the used Sunsation market. I DO think I've seen a few in the past for in the 60's though. Plus, asking price and SELLING price are two different things.
I like the AT 28' anyway.

I do too - I have had nothing but compliments on the way this boat rides, and with twin SBC's, the speed, range, and balance of the boat are excellent. BTW, this one is for sale...

That's a good question!

No doubt a 9000lbs twin engine 31ft Cigarette is going to give the best ride. You will need at least 420s to push it 70mph. Lots of $$ to keep one going.

If we're talking single, then a straight 24° V. 28' Pantera with a minimum of 500 ponies.

Thumbs up

Patrick,
I have a 2003 28' Apache with a single 525 HP. The boat delivers a really smooth ride and performs really well for being a full 28' with an 8'6" beam. She weighs approximately 5600 lbs. She will run 70+ and I have been very pleased so far.

Hi Clay, Hay buddy, if you can make it to the bay bash, I'd be glad to give you a great ride on my 292 Fastech. Great boat, great ride. It's a long trip, but the boating would be worth it! Mike

Hey Mike,

No, I won't be at the Bay Bash. Y'all have fun without me.

BTW, the Formula 292 is an awesome boat!
