Platinum Powerboats
Anyone ever hear of these boats? Seen one? Ridden in one?
I just checked out the website and I got to tell you, they're awfully impressive. Now, we're talking some serious technology...Aerospace grade boats?

Mike peters designed the CUV, Tencara, and the Platinum vee and cats as well as the last 2 generation Victoryteam boats.
I went for a 3 hr tour with Andreas in Marathon in the vee. We were the start boat on saturday. The vee is a blast with only 500 efi power.
I have not ridden in the cat yet. Only Jim and Dominic.
The second cat is ready to rig and the third cat is almost ready.

Runaway,
shifter is right when he states that past CUV, Tencara, platinum and Victory hulls have shared the same naval architect. Other than the BPM surface drives, which all of the above use, this is where the similarity between the CUV and the others end.
The CUV is a riveted aluminum hull, whereas the others are composite. I will not say that it is impossible to pop a mold of an aluminum hull, but I don't know of anyone that has done so.
None of our products have used a hull of anyone else as a plug. They are all "original" designs, for which we have made the effort to build a plug...
