Ref. the diesel thing...

I have really considered this also, as gas mileage is important to me. I just don't think I will tow enough to justify the additional cost. My brother just bought a Dodge 2500 w/ the Cummings and he LOVES it. You're right, great mileage, great towing, and very quiet compared to the Cummings of yester year. I have driven a buddies Duramax Chevy Dually, and I was also very impressed. Now I'm way confused...

Can anyone elaborate on this. I have the noisy steering rod, but I just assumed that was due to my lift and big tires. I figured it was play in the tie-rod ends, pitman arm, or idler arm but maybe not??
