Scarab 34 Question Here!
I have a 1992 Scarab 34 and I want to re-fit the head with an electric macerator model. It came equipped with a porta pottie model (w/pump out). I am interested in anyone who can tell me the make and model of the original equipment option of electric macerator. I believe that my 34 is very close to a 38. so close that i'll bet the holding tank and head are the same (for that year range give or take a little). Any pics or advise would be greatly appreciated.

Steve? Do you have to go showing off that beautiful boat again?!?!? I love those picts, and one day I'm going to use them with a cabin designer and say "here, duplicate this in my Scarab"!!!
pdebusk, I'll get the info for you. Mine is back to the original porta-potti with pumpout setup, but the macerator is still installed/disconnected. It's mounted under my driver side bolster in the store hold. The holding tank is gone, but any should work. Steve's setup is pretty sweet, and as the picts show, has this cabin updated very well.
Brian, I was looking for you last night at Tim's Rivershore, several of the poker run participants were there getting ready for today. Hope the weather holds out for them.

Thanks guys! There's something wrong with my profile/security. I can't view pics or pm anyone. I'll contact the sysop so he/she can fix it. Anyway I think you guys have my email address so any pics or info sent there would be greatly appreciated.
I'll send pics of my boat as soon as I get my profile repaired!

Here's a pict of the macerator, it's mounted in the cargo hold under the driver bolster.
