What to do in St Pete?
I'm going to be in St Pete from Wednesday through Monday with my wife and 8 month old. What is there to do? We're staying at the Trade Winds if there's anything to do near there, Thanks!

Tradewinds, good choice. It's a nice area and a nice place to stay. It's right on Gulf Blvd, so it's on the beach.
What kind of things did you have in mind? Shopping? Dining? Shows? Sippin' on cocktails under a tiki bar?
There's a million things to do. Let me know what you're interested in.

Thanks Baja, mostly looking for anything that is kid friendly. I'm hoping the hotel has a babysitting service so my wife and I can get out for at least one night. I have not had a chance to check out the sites you provided yet, but I'm sure there will be something in there.

Quest for Speed,
You'll see that there is no shortage of adult activities around here, I'm at a loss for things a kid might like. I'm too far removed being a DINK.
Anyway, you might want to venture over towards Tampa. They have the Lowry Park Zoo and the Tampa Aquarium. Both are fantastic and within a short drive.
Of course, you have the largest kids park in the world about an hour and a half away.

Very cool. I hope to go back someday. I was a teenager last time there, so now we can have some real fun.

Sydwayz, I looked into staying at the Don and they have some kind of convention going on for people to renew their wedding vows. I will be staying as far away from there as possible, don't need my wife to get some crazy idea in her head and want another ring or something, the boat needs whipples first .
